Cedar Knolls is a community of 44 single-family homes located in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Ryan Homes began to develop the 15-acre Cedar Knolls site in 1999, with the first homes in the community constructed and occupied in the spring of 2000.

Upon completion of the development two years later, the Cedar Knolls Homeowners Association was organized to manage the common affairs of the community.

Fairfax County in the 21st century is a growing metropolis with a thriving technology industry -- a far cry from the once-rural area that was dotted with farms. With its 300 parks, proximity to the nation’s capital and a host of historic homes, Fairfax County offers visitors a unique experience.

Interspersed with Fairfax County’s impressive collection of 18th and 19th century landmarks are several popular contemporary attractions. Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts is the only national park for the performing arts, offering a variety of entertainment throughout the year.  George Mason University’s Center for the Arts and Patriot Center also host a wide variety of arts, music and entertainment options.

Fairfax County has one of the largest concentrations of retail shopping on the east coast.  Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria contain a variety of major department stores as well as hundreds of upscale boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants.  Regional shopping malls include Fair Oaks Shopping Center and Springfield Mall -- the mall in closest proximity to Cedar Knolls.
